Report: Reavis spent $17,886 per student in 2017-18

Spending per pupil at Reavis Township High School District 220 is up 16.9 percent from five years ago, according to a South Cook News analysis of district finances.

The Illinois State Board of Education 2017-18 report card shows the Cook County school district spent $15,298 per pupil in 2013-14. It spent $17,886 in 2017-18.

The district saw its enrollment rise over the same period, from 1816 to 1823.

Reavis's spending in 2017-18 was 34.1 percent higher than the state average of $13,337.
