Report: Forest Ridge School District spent $9,350 per student in 2019-20

Spending per pupil at Forest Ridge School District 142 was up 9.2 percent from five years ago, according to the South Cook News analysis of the latest Illinois schools report card district finances.

The Illinois State Board of Education 2019-20 report card showed the Cook County school district spent $8,565 per pupil in 2015-16. It spent $9,350 in 2019-20.

The district's enrollment rose from 1,621 to 1,650 students over the same period.

Forest Ridge's spending in 2019-20 was 35.5 percent lower than the state average of $14,492.
