Rita Anne Carroll, the beloved daughter of the late Bernard J. and Helen L. Carroll, was embraced in loving memory as friends and family gathered to pay their respects. Rita was the loving sister of the late James B. Carroll, the late Richard J. Carroll, Dr. Elaine M. Carroll, and a dear sister of the heart to Dr. Loretto A. Glynn. She was also a cherished aunt of David, Thomas, Steven, Daniel Carroll, and Amanda Carroll Schoiber. Rita's best friend, Carol Tolash, offered solace during this time and shared fond memories. Additionally, Rita was a loving godmother to several individuals and a doting great aunt.

Visitation was held on Sunday from 12-6 p.m., providing an opportunity for friends and family to pay their respects. The Funeral Service took place on Monday at 9:30 a.m. at the Robert J. Sheehy & Sons Funeral Home in Orland Park, IL. Rita was laid to rest at Queen of Heaven Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Rita’s memory were welcomed for Misericordia Heart of Mercy in Chicago or The Caring Hearts Fund at Carle BroMenn Medical Center in Normal, IL.
