Orland Park - Gerald “Mac” McNamara, a proud United States Army Veteran, age 85, passed away on October 29, 2025. He was the beloved husband of Millie McNamara, nee Sheehy, and the loving father of Bridget Curtin and Mike McNamara. Gerald was the devoted grandfather of Erin, Molly, and Clare Curtin, and the cherished son of the late James and Catherine McNamara. He was the dear brother of the late Jack McNamara and Eileen Connolly. Gerald leaves behind fond memories with his nieces and nephews Mark Connolly, Sharon Connolly, Jim Connolly, Trish Connolly, and many others.

Visitation will be held on Monday from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., with a chapel service at 7:00 p.m., at Curley Funeral Home in Chicago Ridge. Interment will be private at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery.
