Report: Burbank spent $10,494 per student in 2017-18

Spending per pupil at Burbank School District 111 is down 0.1 percent from five years ago, according to a South Cook News analysis of district finances.

The Illinois State Board of Education 2017-18 report card shows the Cook County school district spent $10,509 per pupil in 2013-14. It spent $10,494 in 2017-18.

The district saw its enrollment rise over the same period, from 3453 to 3657.

Burbank's spending in 2017-18 was 21.3 percent lower than the state average of $13,337.
