BURBANK SCHOOL DISTRICT 111: Seventh Annual St. Baldrick's Event

Event

Burbank School District 111 recently issued the following announcement.

Burbank School District 111 is proud to announce its Seventh Annual St. Baldrick’s event! Our head shaving event will take place on Wednesday, March 18th from 6:00pm to 8:00pm at Liberty Junior High School. At this event we will also be collecting ponytail donations to send to the Children with Hair Loss Foundation charity which provides wigs to those in need. Over the past six years our community has come together to raise over $210,000 to support lifesaving research and collected over 300 ponytails to provides wigs for those in need.

We are joining together, once again, to help raise money to fight childhood cancers. With your help we can reach our $40,000 goal. Be a hero for kids with cancer! Join this St. Baldrick's event, and whether you decide to shave your head, volunteer, or donate, we hope you'll be a part of the excitement. Get involved and you'll be giving hope to infants, children, teens and young adults fighting childhood cancers. Volunteers may sign up online by visiting our event webpage at https://www.stbaldricks.org/events/mypage/11035/2020 and clicking the blue “Join Us” button.

We have several sponsorship opportunities for local businesses to support our event. Interested representatives can reach our Sponsorship Coordinator, Mike Shizas via email (MShizas@bsd111.org). Thank you for your support of this important mission.
