Cost of college went up for all students at Trinity Christian College

Tuition and fees rose 5.2 percent for 2018-19 at Trinity Christian College, according to recent data from the U.S. Department of Education.

Illinois students paid $30,175 to attend the four-year private not-for-profit institution this year – $1,500 more than the $28,675 charged for 2017-18.

Data shows 97 percent of full-time undergraduates who started school in 2015-16 received student financial aid in some form. In all, 185 students received grants or scholarships totaling $3.3 million and 133 students took out student loans totaling more than $931,161.

Including all undergraduates (1,131), 967 students used grants or scholarships totaling $13 million, and 798 students took out $5.1 million in federal student loans.
