Report: South Holland School District spent $11,795 per student in 2019-20

Spending per pupil at South Holland School District 150 was up 13.6 percent from five years ago, according to the South Cook News analysis of the latest Illinois schools report card district finances.

The Illinois State Board of Education 2019-20 report card showed the Cook County school district spent $10,381 per pupil in 2015-16. It spent $11,795 in 2019-20.

The district's enrollment rose from 945 to 952 students over the same period.

South Holland's spending in 2019-20 was 18.6 percent lower than the state average of $14,492.
